ServingHIM in Romania

ServingHIM missionaries and local church members work side by side

to make visitors to the dental clinic feel at home.

Trip Leader, Dr. Mark Hall from Alabama and his Romanian

interpreter Bogdan finish working on a smiling boy's teeth.

Dr. Jan Rollow from Dallas, Texas is assisted by Theresa Carter.

The ServingHIM missionaries inquire about spiritual needs

as Romanians wait to have their dental needs addressed.

Dr. Matt Miller prepares to help his next patient.
Each is living their life story in a depressed post-communist world where
jobs are scarce, wages are cheap and alcoholism abounds.

Greetings in the name of Jesus! We are here in Braila. God is good and we are so blessed. We have seen souls added to the Kingdom and God has used everyone to see His purposes fulfilled.
Monday the dentists saw around 50 patients and around 15 new commitments. Tuesday was about the same. Wednesday it seems like we have been nonstop and we give God glory for the new commitments so far (we have not had time to count). We are believing that this afternoon (Wednesday) and tomorrow, we will be assisting the Holy Spirit by adding new souls to the Kingdom.
As we look around, it really takes all parts of the Body to operate. We have some that are sowing, some planting, some watering and Praise God, we have seen harvesting! We thank God for the soil that has been tilled before we got here and the crop that has been brought in. It truly does take the Body working together. Our brothers and sisters here in Braila have been at prayer and are busy co-laboring. We have several that will be back next week when the next group comes in and we are believing that what we have planted will be harvested.
To God be the glory! We had a glorious anniversary celebration today at lunch. Preston and J. J. Headrick celebrated 27 years here in Braila. For you women who are hesitant about coming this far, the desserts are heavenly. Just ask anyone who shared in the Headrick’s anniversary cake. And the chocolate (without bananas—inside joke) is unbelievable. Its worth the trip!
Most unbelievable is the way the Lord works the same this far from home. God is truly the same yesterday, today and forever—the same in Alabama, Texas, Mississippi and Romania. How faithful He is! Pray for us that we remain faithful.

* Please pray for the safe return of this group as they leave Saturday morning. Also pray for the next ServingHIM group as they departed for Romania from Dulles Airport in the Washington DC area today. Pray that many will see the love of God in action and trust in our Lord Jesus Christ.
